** HR Graph v2 has now been approved by Fitbit and published to the Fitbit App Gallery**
New Features:
Adjustable graph time range (horizontal axis) settings ranging from 5 minutes to over 10 hours to enable graphing of endurance sports and sleeping heart rate. This is configured by choosing sample intervals of 1,2,3,4,5,6,10,12,15,20,30,60,90 and 120 seconds (previously this was fixed at 1 sample per second)
Settings page accessed via the left hardware button
Screen auto-off setting, auto-off can be enabled / disabled
Screen touch setting, the reset and pause buttons can now enabled for touches so that they will work on newer devices that lack the 2 hardware buttons on the right.
When the screen auto-off disabled, battery life is vastly improved allowing long term heart rate graphing, the app uses only around 15% battery during overnight sleep monitoring with the screen off.
The graph now rolls-over rather then resets at the end of the graph time range, the previous graph line is visible as a faint line which gradually gets overwritten on the next pass.
This will be the last free version of HR Graph, a Premium version is now in development which will implement the adjustable Heart Rate scale and range (Y Axis) settings that are shown in the Free version along with other features.

Development has now resumed on this App!
HR Graph has been updated to v1.0.2 in order to work on the latest Fitbit OS and the new devices "Versa Lite" and "Versa 2", the updated version is now available in the Fitbit App Gallery.
Development paused after the initial release of this App due to slow uptake, deficiencies in Fitbit developer platform and lack of basic information in the Fitbit App Gallery such as number of app installs. In the 18 months since the first release of this App, the situation has improved with the Fitbit OS and developer SDK/platform, however there is still no app installation counter for developers, so please use the buttons at the bottom of the HR Graph page to indicate that this app has been installed.
Selectable sample intervals of 1,2,3,4,5,6,10,12,15,20,30,60,90 and 120 seconds (this is currently fixed at 1 sample per second) this will provide an adjustable time (X axis) range from 5 mins to 10 hours.
Adjustable Heart Rate range (Y axis)
Continous data capture and export capability (currently no data is stored anywhere)
Depending on the success of the above, a web based data viewing and analysis platform for the Heart Rate data will be created.
The adjustable ranges and data export capabilities have also been requested via emails to the support address: hr-graph-fitbit@fiveappstudio.io , so thankyou to those who have made suggestions which have provided the motivation for this further development.
If you would like to see additional features please get in touch using the above email address. Please note that data export and possibly other features are likely to be part of an optional premium feature set, please suggest via email what you would be willing to pay as a one off fee for such a feature.
